What this means in practice

We serve deaf and hard-of-hearing customers in American Sign Language. Not through a relay service booked a week ahead, and not by writing notes on a pad at the door, though we will do that too if it is easier for you.

  • Booking by text or email works exactly as well as booking by phone. Nobody has to make a voice call to get service
  • The technician explains the diagnosis directly, including what failed and what the options are
  • The price is given in writing before any work starts, which is standard for every customer
  • Arrival texts rather than a knock, if you tell us that is what you want

Why we mention it at all

Because in appliance repair in this county it is close to unheard of, and because the alternative for deaf customers is usually a stranger in the kitchen having a conversation they are shut out of, about a repair they are paying for. That is a bad experience and an easy one to fix.

How to reach us

Text or email works. Use the booking form on the home page and write in the notes how you prefer to communicate, and we will follow it.
