This is not a highlight reel. It is the actual distribution of what comes through the phone across a typical week in the West Valley, and what each of those calls turns into once somebody is standing in front of the machine.
Not cooling, freezer fine
Evaporator fan motors, defrost heaters and thermostats, dampers, control boards, sealed system diagnosis on built-in columns.
Water under the unit
Blocked defrost drain lines, cracked drain pans, door seals that stopped sealing years ago.
Washer leaving water in the drum
Drain pumps, blocked pump filters, door lock assemblies, siphoning drain hoses.
Dryer taking three cycles
Vent lines opened and cleared end to end, heating elements, thermal fuses, gas igniters and flame sensors.
Dishwasher leaving film
Full descale, spray arm clearing, drain path checked including the disposal knockout plug.
Oven not holding temperature
Sensors, igniters, bake elements, calibration, control boards after a self-clean cycle.
Microwave runs but stays cold
High voltage side diagnosed properly on built-in and over-the-range units, waveguide covers, interlock switches.
Disposal humming or leaking
Jams cleared, flanges resealed, units replaced when the bottom seam has gone.
How we document a repair
- Photo of the failed part before it comes out, and of the model plate
- The fault explained in plain language, including what caused it where that is knowable
- The price agreed in writing before the work, not after
- What to expect next, including whether this failure tends to bring others with it
Installations
Installation is a listed service on our Yelp profile, not an afterthought. Refrigerators including panel-ready columns, stacked laundry sets, dishwashers, ranges and cooktops, over-the-range microwaves, hoods, disposals, ice makers and compactors. Levelled, connected, tested, old unit disconnected properly.
What we will tell you not to fix
A sealed system failure on a ten year old freestanding refrigerator. A countertop microwave under two hundred dollars. A disposal leaking from the bottom seam. In each of those cases the repair is technically possible and financially silly, and saying so costs us a job and keeps a customer.
